is it possible to bolt on an 09+ front clip (non raptor) to the 04-08

 

I have heard yes. But most people on this form will tell you its a waste of money just buy an 09.

If you do it i want to see. I would love to do it to mine.

Yes. Several guys have swapped for Raptor take-offs. The Raptor and non Raptor parts all use the same mounting points.

so your saying that the 09+ f150's front clip are just basically a bolt on to the 04-08 f150's

There is a guy on here that has done a couple conversions from non Raptor to Raptor - mikegmang

pm him, he can tell you the specifics, but to my knowledge it's a pretty easy thing to do. He can tell you what the differences are if any.

there are also two other conversion threads for your year group, I can't find them off hand but it has been done.

the frames and cabs are basically the same from 04 until now (aside from the different reg cab variant) so it really shouldn't be a problem
