Looking at a '07 FX4 Supercab with 275 miles on it. Only problem is that it has BLACK CLOTH CAPTAIN CHAIRS, i thought all FX4's had leather ???? Was this a special order truck ? has pretty much everything else ( power ). Does this truck look right to you guys ? I'm new to the F-150's , i'm driving a Ranger Edge right now and looking to move up to a F-150.They want $26,900 for it. Thanks !

 

that price sounds good, and not all fx4's came with leather, its still an option.

Yeah, that price does sound nice, and I think (tho I may be totally wrong) that it is only the King Ranch that comes w/leather standard.

If it's an '07, you know they are just dying to get this off the lot cuz they're paying to have last years model sitting on the lot taking up space so you do have the upper hand.

Although my 2007 is a trim level step down (XLT), it is a size step up (SuperCrew...I'm not sure which one "outweighs the other...the trim level or the size), but I got mine the last week of Oct. '07, and wrote them a check out the door in the amount of $22,368 for EVERYTHING and I had them throw in the black nerf bars and the service coupon book (you know free oil changes up to like 60K miles, tire rotation, stuff like that) or I said that I would walk. With it already being Feb. 2008, I willing to bet that they are losing money each day that this thing sits on the lot.

So I say all of that to say that if there is something that you want done to the truck (leather, coupons, 0% financing (if your credit is good), no down payment) then make the demand or let them know that you are willing to walk (of course ur kinda playing Russian Rullette, and have to be willing to walk, lol, and I don't know if you NEED a new truck or just simply want one).

But overall, I think that that is a good price and if you don't feel like haggling or trying to get them to give you add ons, then I would make sure that this price is the out the door price after EVERYTHING ELSE, taxes, title, whatever. Tell them to drop the price down low enough so that the price of the $26K and change is what you are paying OUT THE DOOR...NOTHING MORE!

But that's just me...I like playing hardball with these guys when I go to buy.

 

the interior is not cloth, its a material they call flint. i have it in my 07 fx4. its so warm in the winter. since i bought the truck in the winter i dont know how it is in the winter but i like it so far. i wish i just had leather for the all black look inside

Lariats come standard with leather as do the "LIMITED"s that were released late last year. Same with Harley's , 60TH anniversary edition and the Chip Foose ones about to hit the dealerships. The majority of FX4s have leather but not all.

Yeah, but ford, your truck is a Supercrew, his is 'just' an Extended cab from the pics I believe.

 

Thats a damn good price. I would jump on it. Like was said above though, make that the out the door price. There's a dealer here in town that has an 05 Lariat used with like 44k onthe clock. I asked them what they wanted for it. They said 29,500 I nearly laughed myself into a coma at the guy when he said that.

 

I agree, and I would rather have cloth seats, you don't stick to them in the summer heat. That is until you turn the A/C on!
