Are there any visual differences in the 06-08? I'm pretty sure they went to the circle fog lights in 06

 

no none that i know of, the major changes were done from the 05 to 06 models

Also in 08 they changed the 7/4 pin trailer connector a bit ,looks slightly different then the 04-07 trucks.... it open sideways vs. up. And with me noticing every little detail I would now that


And in 07 they got the TPMS
And in 07 they add the FX4 luxury package

 

I think the platinum package came in in 08.

 

what changes were made from 05 to 06?

 

06 first year you could get 6.5 foot bed with the screw
20 inch rims available

07 round fogs, power fold mirrors, tire pressure minitors, FX-2, new rims, aux jack for stereo

08 cargo management system, Rear camera, stripe package on STX

Each year also had small option changes/ additions. I think SYNCH came in 08? As far as the exterior its really just the fogs that change and rims.

 

Round fogs came in 06.

I believe in 07 or 08, they changed the exhaust manifold. Sounds much louder than 04-06's.
