Saw a ad for a 05 f150 with a 5 1/2 ft bed. Did the 150 come with that short of a bed? My 05 had the 6 1/2 ft bed.

 

Yes since 2004.

 

Supercabs have 6.5' beds and in some rare cases 8'. The Raptor was offered with a supercab and 5.5' bed, but that is the only exception I'm aware of and I'm not sure of the years available. The Supercrew is standard with a 5.5' bed and a few have 6.5' beds.

 

I think they stopped with the non Raptor Version in 2009 or 10, I have seen a couple like that around here with a 5.5 bed on a SCab

 

According to the 2005 F-150 sales brochure the 5½' bed was available on the SuperCab and SuperCrew 4x2 | 4x4 Styleside.

04-08 had the 5.5, 6 and 8 foot bed options for super cabs. Crew had only 5.5 till 06 with they started offering a 6 foot option. Reg cab had 6 and 8 foot options.

Thank you, person with the truck still hasn’t responded. It’s at a used car dealership that no one seems to know where it is. That bed size is to short for me anyways. The hunt continues.
