Default Xplan

sup peeps so i want to trade in my truck for a platnium 4x4, or fx4, not too sure but has to be a 4x4 now. So i read about the xplan etc and want to know how does that really work. I know I read something it gives you dealer price etc but would price would that be? I have my bronlaw working for a ford dealership and he offered his family discount, my question is which one is better x plan discount or family discount?

i qualify for the X plan. when i ordered my F150, the x plan discount was several $thousand less than what the dealer discounted. 10 years earlier when i order my 2002 F150, the X plan beat the dealer discount. the x plan is not what it used to be.
i have no idea what discount family of Ford employee get. good luck.

When I bought mine I used the X-Plan and the dealer showed me a list of all the discounts it had the A and D plan listed as well. I believe the A Plan is what the Dealer gets for discount and was about 1k less than the X-Plan. If you just ask the dealer what the X-Plan price would be they can pull it up real quick. Also your employer should have a portal for you to go check X-Plan prices.

The family discount (probably A plan) will be better. If you have the "Partner Code" for xplan you can go to fordpartner.com and build and price from there and you should get the exact xplan price before rebates.

I would be getting the A plan pricing if I pull the trigger and get a Platinum. DO I get the A plan price plus all the incentives? This is up in the air since before when I purchased my 04 Expo they did just that, A plan plus all incentives.

This time around getting a Taurus for my parents they only said I could get A plan not both A plan and Incentives.

Well you would be getting something - $2k, plus if there is any trade assistance from Ford, you would get that tacked on top (usually $750 or $1k). If you want more, try to sell your current truck on your own.

Xplan isn't worth it. Not as good of a deal as the dealers will do without it.

Xplan is great. Good price - all available rebates at the time = great price. No dealer fees no bs.
