Default Windshield Wiper Replacement

I was wondering where everyone has gotten there windshield wiper replacements. Do you prefer to get them from Ford Dealership or do you just get them from an Auto Parts store? What kind and size do you get and/or prefer? Any better than others?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as one of my wipers on 2009 FX4 busted this morning.

i was wondering the same thing. you beat me to it...lol. on my 2005, i purchased some wiper blades that were guaranteed for life. they were made out of silicon. i never had to replace them either. my wife needed some new blades and i can't find them in the store. i bought the previous set from walmart. i don't remember the brand name, but i can't seem to find them.

anyways, what are you guys using? oem? bosch? michelin?

I went in to Auto Zone about a week ago to get new wipers for my 2010 f150 and they told me that they do not carry them! Whats up with that? Has anyone else experienced this or did I just get a dumb ***** that only knows what the computer tells him?

Haven't had to on my truck yet but the Honda dealer sells rubber refills a lot cheaper than the full blade at the local parts stores for our van. Maybe that is why there isn't a listing for the 2011....

Just replaced mine with Michelin's...they suck! Try anything else. I'll be swapping these out quickly.

weather is bad here, so I needed some quickly so I called dealer close to work and went and bought OEM set from them for ~$25 total. I'll deal with these and maybe order another highly recommended set to replace these with down the road sometime.

I've replace the wiper blades on various vehicles as many as 2 time a year. In my opinion, the Ford wipers are junk. I mounted a pair of Bosch wiper blades and couldn't be happier. They're a little expensive at $15 per blade but well worth it.

The FoMoCo will replace your wipers for free for the first 12,000 miles or one year.

Longer if you bought the pre paid maintenance plan.

My '10 XLT's are just about 12 months old and still work fine.

I lift the arms up when snow is forecast.

f150 wipers blades are 20in both sides. i use the rain x latitude (the form to the window with no metal bar) i love the look and they work awsome. plus i have rain x water repellent and it awesome. i only have to use my wipers when its down pouring. otherwise wind does the work.
