Default Window tint

I'm planning on getting my front windows tinted to match the backs. What is the factory tint percentage on the back windows? Also if anyone has any pictures of their fronts tinted to match the backs it would be appreciated.

Factory tint is right around 20% ill post some pics of mine later. I did mine at 45% and I think it compliments the rear windows nicely.

I just had mine tinted to 15% and it matches perfect, IMHO.

18-20% matches perfectly on mine. I had the Suntek 18%.

5-10% is way too dark (had to peel it off)

Not sure what percentage but I had the installer match the backs. It's probably on the receipt, I can tell you after lunch. I had to sign a paper acknowledging that it was illegal in texas to have the fronts that dark. I figured I'll take my chances.

I just took mine over and am stuck getting "legal" tint - so the front is 28% and he said the back was closer to 15%-ish.

My neighbor just bought the same truck and took it somewhere that was willing to do any % - so his is technically illegal but they jacked his brow on the front window so I didn't trust they'd do a good job for me. It was a decent price and nearby so I'm just going to have to stick with being legit for now!

Depending on the angle or outdoor lighting, the "legal" tint actually doesn't look too far off from the back. Here are the first two trucks I had:

The people who did mine said the rear is close to 20% but because there is no tint on the windshield he said the 15% would match better (and it does)
