On my 2007 Lariat I noticed that the spacing on the sides of the rear bumper to the bed were different. How did Ford correct it? By moving the bed to the right 2 inches. Of course it made the bed not flush with the cab on the sides. Now I know the bumpers are different on my 2013. So it's just food for thought.

My left foot is wider than my right, so I have to buy shoes that the left fits comfortably. So we all have slight imperfections man made or not, lol!

My nose is crooked.. Can it be fixed? Sure, but I don't let it bother me.

For what it's worth, my bed doesn't sit flush, either. Built on a Monday. I'm more interested in mechanical problems, and I've had none.

Happy. happy. happy.

Mine is flush on both sides, or flush enough that I can't see a difference. My rear bumper is slightly lower on the passenger side. That only bothers Chevy drivers...

I see Ford trucks all day long in the parking lot of the liquor store I work at. Some have a bed that sits as mine. Some are flush on both sides.

what is the reason for this?
Do they have spray in bedliners?

Most likely as the bed bolts are taken out, and likely gets shifted from prepping the bed and applying the coating.

the bed liner is the drop in type. I just looked at it again and if the bed was moved it would foul up how the rear bumper is aligned.

The more I think about it the more I also think it would just lead to a laundry list of other troubles.

I'm fussy, had 6 new trucks, all makes, never had a crooked bed, bumper or mirror. It it was.....I wouldn't buy it. Remove bolts for a spray in liner.....yeah. They just tape those. The nuts under those bolts are often hidden by large items, ie, fuel tanks.
