Mine have that too. I figured the idiots that rotate and balance did it some how.

If you cant feel an indent with your finger nail then it appears as the clear coat is lifting in those areas.

Happens to all the clear coated wheels, if you have bad winters where you are. Especially aluminum. Aluminum does corrode. You don't want to see mine. Mine look like that throughout

Yep my 2011 Eco that I just sold had that real bad on the rims, and even the Ecoboost symbols.
