Default Water leaking in cab

I have a 2011 fx4 that has developed a musty smell I traced it to the driver side floor board carpet it's soaked where do I begin trying to find a leak and will the dealer warrenty this? Also does anybody else have this problem?

If its the drivers rear it could be your 3rd brake light. They are notorious for this. I think Ford made a new version with a different gasket or something. Mine did it along with most others and I took my truck into the dealer and they ordered the new tail light, installed it and it hasn't leaked since (knocks on wood). Mine was damp under the passenger side rear seat. Do a search here on 3rd brake light leaking and you'll find a ton of info on it.

Otherwise look for the simple stuff like door seal gaskets, panels, etc.

Had the same problem with my F350. Drivers most cab light leaked. I agree with a previous post, check Sirius antenna.

But the antenna is on passenger side. He mentioned drivers side but I guess water could carry its way over there? Is your passenger side floor also wet?

It's more the drivers side years the front And really bad around the center console
