What are you saying? They tore the truck apart and now want you to pay to put it back together. If that is the case, call Ford and call your BBB, have them flatbed it to another dealer. If they didn't quote you a price and made you assume it would be covered under warranty, they can't do that. If you did NOT sign an estimate of repair, they can't do that. I am making this statement under the assumption you are still within your warranty coverage.

Unfortunate that you have such an unfriendly dealer. Is there another you could try?

Definitely time to get Ford corporate involved. Maybe a call to your local BBB too?

That sounds like a crappy dealer. Just be nice to them and around my dealership people who are nice to us get excellent service.

I brought a customers rig in for a similar water leak last week. Drivers side up above the "A" pillar trim the customer noticed it being wet after his service wash. I picked it up in pouring rain and it was dry. I drove it a bit then parked it for the night. The next morning there was a water drop hanging off the A pillar tweeter housing and water in the drivers side cup holder/floor mat. My service guys said no problem we'll take a look. They determined it was a poorly sealed factory windshield. We had safelite auto glass come in and pull the windshied. They re-sealed it and put it back in. Customer says so far so good.

The factory window seal was very poor around the top drivers side of the windshield. I know mistakes happen and all we can do on the dealer level is address each one. I am no different than you with expecting my new pickup to be perfect. Best of luck and if you need any additional help/advice send me a PM.

I recently had a leak that was dripping off my emergency brake pedal. The dealer found the leak and it was coming from my windshield and it was following trim down to ebp. The windshield had a small crack in it at the sealent line. They replaced the windshield and so far no leaks.
