Default Wanting A New Grill

Hey everyone, I am a first time poster and just want to get some advice on getting a new grille for my 2009 Ford F150. I have had the truck for going on 2 years and am just now starting to make some modifications to it. Note: I am by no means a vehicle expert, I just love Ford, love my truck, and want it to look as awesome as I can afford. (or as awesome as the wife will allow me to afford!)

Is there a particular grille you guys like? Do you prefer the stock one that you have? Here is an old pic of my truck. Thanks in advance!

I had the same grill as you did, and went with the three bar off a 2014. You can get one for $325 shipped and they look so much better! Best looking OEM grill by far.

I don't even have a price in mind. I guess I am just waiting to find something I love and talk myself into it one way or another. I do like the new grilles and I love the raptor grilles as well! I found one that I absolutely love but this particular one isn't compatible with my truck.

Frankly, I prefer the design of my grille over any other one ... except maybe the raptor grille ... but I wouldn't want the raptor grille on my truck since it's not a raptor. Back to my grille of choice, I'd prefer it be matte black or PTM, depending on the truck. On my FX4, it's just matte black with a PTM surround ... which I think is just right for my truck.

If you prefer less chrome you could swap in a grille with a paint to match surround in white. For a complete look you may want to PTM your bumper to match the grille surround. Shown is the 2011-2012 FX style 6 bar grille.
