When I changed my gears to a 4.10 I added the trutac absolutely love it. It's been a year now no issues well worth the gut punch of the cost

I installed a Truetrac in my 2011 4 years ago when this thread started. Removed it before trading the truck and installed in my 2014. Removed it from the 2014 last week in hopes that my 2017 gets here next month.

What rear end did you have, 8.8 or 9.75? I just bought a 2014 FX4 and want to install a Truetrac but Eaton's website only lists that the Truetrac works in up to a 2012 F150 with the 9.75 ringset. From what I can tell there's no differences between 2012-2014 as far as the differential goes.

Mine has a 9.75"
This is the one I had in my 2011 and 2014 FX4s.

The carrier in the 9.75 case should be the same from 09-14, the ring and pinions have slight changes along with bearings, but the carrier itself is the same. I am not at my home PC so I don't have the links handy, but I have stored a cart with the part numbers for when I am ready.

I'm reviving this old thread, because now that my 2011 has 110,000 on it I'm going to service the front differential, and put on a cover with a drain plug, and I'm ordering a TrueTrac for the front while I'm at it.

I want to get it done before the last big storm this Winter so I can give it a workout.

Keep you posted !

Well, after reading every word in this thread since #1 I went off-roading a few more hours on youtube... addictive stuff and I'm not even planning any off-road!

Some guys really live the good life!

My 2017 has 35 spline axles so my Truetrac won't fit. My 2017 doesn't do the one wheel peel like my 2011 and 2014 did so it probably doesn't need a Truetrac anyway?? Oh well...I'll probably save it for my next truck.

I have the 35 spline 9.75" rear. I'm not sure but I think it's only available on the 2017 Raptor??
