That trailer tongue box looks interesting. How did you mount it?

I just centered it and drilled 4 holes and used some carriage bolts with some silicone. I had to leave a 2 inch gap behind it so the lid would open but it works great for me

One that isn't as visible from side?
I bought and installed a swing case. I have the 5.5' bed. It is attached between the tailgate and wheel well. Either side. Just order accordingly. I love it. Fits quite a bit and not too bulky.

I was at Lowe's tonight and it's looks like they have swapped manufactures indeed. The two on the display rack are made by BB (big BB decal on the inside lid) and you can tell they have been there for awhile. The boxes still packaged up are distributed by Werner Company. Also made in Mexico, has the smooth piece of aluminum tack welded for the bottom and a smooth piece that butts up to the front of the bed. Werner sells many products to include ladders, Knaack and Weather Guard.

Home Depot box is much nicer than the Kobalt. It's stronger and is built well....for the most part. So far I haven't found a square one yet, the lid will only latch from one side. On my second box and no adjustment will make it latch correctly. Looking at it in the light you can see it's flaws. Returning the second tomorrow. Done with Husky.

I returned 3 different huskys to Home Depot, couldn't find one that wasn't bent or broken. Bought a used uws and its a far better box even being used.

Funny you say that, UWS makes the Husky boxes too.

Probably would have kept it, but I went the route of a tonneau and swing boxes on this truck.

Possibly it was a better box because it was built prior to the new ones I was trying to buy. Regardless of who makes/made it, every husky box I bought from Home Depot was either bent, cracked or warped. Therefore the UWS was/is a better box....plus I bought it for less than half of what the new huskys were.
