Default Traction Control Question

I'm a proud owner of a 2010 reg cab stx. When purchased, I had the dealer install a leveling kit. Few months after buying I noticed the Traction control light would come on at random times. Not during slow turns like others are reporting. Just random times like cruising down the highway. Usually after turning off the vehicle it would be fine. Well I went to dealership and they did the reflash with the latest TSB. That seemed to fix it but probably a month after that I installed a tuner. Well since then, I still get the traction control light from time to time. Probably once a month. Not very often, just enough to remind me after I have passed it up as a fluke. My question is, What exactly is this doing to my truck? It doesn't lose power or drive any differently when it comes on. Also, did my tuner erase my update my dealer performed? If i went back to stock tune would the update still be in the system? Should I return to stock and go back to dealership? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks! (BTW i'm still running stock tires)

Its the same light that comes on when you manually turn off traction control.(the truck with the skid marks) It comes on and stays on for at least a min or two or until I turn the truck off and restart. When it comes on I'll try to push the button to turn it off but that doesn't do anything. Like I said this doesn't occur very often. I'd say once a month on average. Just often enough to make me wonder. Also I'm closing in on mile 33,000 of my 36,000 mile warranty so Im getting more concerned.

Is this something that is actually causing problems with my truck that I need to get fixed, or just something that is caused by my level kit that if I can deal with the light coming on once every blue moon its not something to be concerned with?

A lot of people have leveling kits and don't have the indicator coming on like you described. I would put the tune back to stock and see what happens. If it still comes on take it in.

No, my tires are the ones that came on it. 275/65/18's. I've just read on here were people had traction control issues after a level and was wondering if it was simply normal. Like I said it was happening before tune, took it in and did the tsb flash. Then not much longer after that added a tune. I didn't go long enough in between to know if it was actually completely fixed after the dealership trip.
