Default Traction control?

Is there no way to completely turn off the trac loc on these trucks? The other day it was kind of wet and i was feeling my oats like a 16 year old. So I turned off the trac loc, Then held it down to turn off the advanced trac loc. Rolled up to a stop sign (on a closed course) and hammered it from a stop. It spun for just a split second, the de-powered and quit spinning. Very rarely do i do things like this anymore, but it does concern me for off road use. I havent had my truck in the mud yet, but you do need to spin em to clean em. So what are you guys thoughts. thanks.

Yes. (there is no way to completely turn-off traction control ... even though you noted "trac lok").

The factory E-loc (traction-loc) can always be turned on/off via the dash **** (pull|push).

with mine turned off it will whip right around on me, i found this out pulling out into a main street and i mashed it..well i ended up sideways before anything finally kicked in..i did not have advance trac turned off just TC.

In the rain i keep it in AWD because otherwise it wants to go sideways a lot.

Sorry for the mix up, i was speaking of the traction control. Pretty gay that you cant turn it all the way off in my opinion.

Pull the ABS fuse and you won't have TC,RSC, or ABS.

I think there is a way to turn it all the way off. I could be wrong though but it's more involved than just holding the button down until advanced trac is off. I remember there being some sort of chart in the manual explaining it all. Look there for now, but I want to say there's one more level of disengagement. I won't get to mine until the morning. I can post my findings then.

If i hold down traction control button for a few seconds it says "ADVANCE TRAC OFF" in the productivity screen, then i can drift the thing if i so please... Can drive at highway speeds and it will not turn back on, contrary to what i hear.

X2. Fuse 47 works well. Then the electric locker in the rear still functions. I can't do anything with either if mine without the light coming on... even with everything off. It's pointless even holding the button.
