I think there is a way to turn it all the way off. I could be wrong though but it's more involved than just holding the button down until advanced trac is off. I remember there being some sort of chart in the manual explaining it all. Look there for now, but I want to say there's one more level of disengagement. I won't get to mine until the morning. I can post my findings then.
OK so this morning before heading home from work I pulled the fuse. #47 like you guys said. The traction control light, e-brake light, and abs light all came on. I drove it home that way and yes the traction control was definitely off. When I got home I put the fuse back in, but when I start the truck all the same lights are still on, plus its telling me to chk brake system, hill descent fault, service traction control and all kinds of crap. Why is it still saying this with the fuse reinstalled. It acts like the fuse is still missing. And yes the fuse is good.
