Last three relevant TSBs attached. Mine has been trouble free in the 50K miles since fixed. If your dealer can't even find the TSB, I'd find another dealer.

Just had a look at the torn down engine and currently phasers dont appear to be an issue and are currently in ok working order (cant confirm how much life yet) - they are tearing down the front cover to the cam sprocket to see if the pin has sheared off causing my chain stretch (it is definitely stretched with play when moving by hand). Im wondering if i should change my phasers ... costs are quickly climbing and its something i could do, but with my limited budget i dont know if i should complete it.

side note, you can change the coolant fittings on the turbo without removing the turbo right...a pain i bet, but i remember removing the hardlines prior to removing the turbo, then removing from the turbo when the turbo was free - i feel like i couldve gotten in there, pushed the hardlines to the side and changed just the fittings? for the fittings and hard lines etc. without manifold its about a 1k job (canadian, probably $20 USD lol - joking probably ~700 usd), pretty sure I can do it myself but wanted to ask here

That list of new parts sounds better to me than the initial one.

How many miles where on the timing set being replaced?

93K, the last half or last 1/3 of those miles i was changing oil every 3k miles ... man this engine has issues - i think its fuel dilution of the oil that is the root cause FYI
