Default Sync volume

Anyone know how to bypass the default volume when making a call with sync?
Everytime I make a call, I have to turn up the volume. It seems it would remember the last volume. Not to safe if i have to take my eyes off the road to see the volume indicator.

Default SO annoying!

Yeah, it annoys the crap outta' me too.
My Kenwood I had in my last truck would remember the volume for each input, including the phone. Now every time I get a call I have to remember to turn it up before I answer so I can hear the caller. I asked someone at syncmyride.com if maybe they would tweak this in a future update, but they didn't sound too enthusiastic about it.
Maybe if enough of us point out how necessary it is, they'll fix it.

You cant just adjust it on the wheel? Pretty quick and easy without looking.

If you try to turn it up from the sterring wheel, it takes awhile to regester the command. Thus having to hold onto the button long and is very complicated and not safe while tring to turn at the same time.

Sorry, I just don't find it that challenging myself. However I agree the volume needs to be better normalized with the radio/CD volume.

Mine does it too. Have to crank the volume to max to hear the caller. After the call is completed, The volume goes back to normal when listening to the radio or ipod.

One thing I found, raise the volume on your phone to max, not the ring volume, but the volume when you taking on your phone. After I put mine to max, I never had a issue with not hearing through my speakers on SYNC

I just checked the volume on my Iphone and it was 3 bars below the max. But I will try it at full volume to see if that helps.
