Default Sync question

Every time I get in my truck it is on 'line in' which i have never used, instead of bluetooth. Is there a way to make it default to Bluetooth?

Mine does the same thing. It's annoying to have to press the button, but only a little.

I always have to hit the 'listen' button and say 'bluetooth audio' or it will remain in line in. after doing this, sync should remain in bleutooth mode until you manually change it. I hope this helps.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to remedy. I'd like it to remain in Bluetooth mode instead of having to talk to the dashboard every time

This would be my preference too.

Same here. It's mildly irritating but I've learned to live with it. Too bad that technology often leaves the lab before it's ready, and SYNC isn't exactly new so you would think they could have figured that out by now. People are buying the product so I guess there's no real motivation to make it happen.

I think it's because the bluetooth disconnects when you exit the truck. I had a dedicated iPod in mine and it would start playing whatever song it was on where it was when I left the truck. The a couple weeks ago some pond scum stole the iPod so I was used my "mobile" iPod and it would go back to bluetooth audio each time. What was really annoying is it would start my phone playing the first song it found alphabetically. I had to stop the phone playing music by pressing a button on the phone. I'm going to move to a thumb drive as soon as I do the USB2 mod.

I leave the dedicated iPod hidden behind the glove compartment incase some scum sucker breaks in.

Was a gift from my students, so the loss would be much more than financial.
