Default Sync Quality Questions

Recently people have started complaining that when I use the Sync for a phone call it has a lot of static. It seems to be intermittent, but definitely happening. When I first had the truck no one complained but within the last 2 weeks it is becoming very routine for people to mention it. Is this something that you all experience or is something "wrong" with my mic, sync, electrical, etc?

In addition, the first drive of the day the sync has started disconnecting my phone. Just once when I first start driving down my street. Then I re-connect it and don't have any additional problems the rest of that drive or even the rest of the day usually. The next day... same thing. I haven't changed phones and I didn't used to have this problem so either something changed in the truck or I just didn't notice it before... Do you guys normally have your connections drop?

Then last week I couldn't get the sync to recognize any voice commands with the phone. I tried disconnecting/reconnecting the phone, shutting off the truck and restarting but those didn't work either. Eventually, I deleted the phone from sync and re-paired it and it started working again. Two days later... same thing except this time I ignored it and a couple of days later it just started working again. I haven't had that same trouble since then until today... Just started doing it again.

Should I be thinking these are all related? Anyone else have this type of trouble or thoughts?

Thanks!

Have you restarted your phone recently? Restarting it may make it work properly again.

Forgot to add those steps. I did restart the phone and even went through the batter pull hard restart during those problems. I have a droid EVO 4G.

Just started having the same issues with the voice commands as well. I have restarted my phone and still cannot recognize any of the voice commands. BTW......I also have the HTC EVO 4G!

Same phone, same issues. It has only done it to me once so far (per issue) but that was 2 days ago so I suspect it will happen again as I have only had the truck for 10 days.
