Did you have any problems leading up to today? I think you might need to include some more details before anyone can help you out.

Mine acts up like that all the time. I have an iPhone, so it could be a relationship issue. I'm planning a trip to the dealership next week for a few things, but probably will get them to load the latest release....even though I thought I did that last week, but the version I loaded seemed to be more problematic than the original one.

I hadn't driven my truck for a week and it wouldn't connect to my phone so I pulled the battery on the phone. When it powered back up, everything was ok.

I have a Doird Razr, and for the most part it works perfectly. The only problem I've run in to is when I have it plugged in through the USB to play music, and then I turn the truck off to run in to a gas station. When I come out and restart the truck, sometimes it will just start playing a "Facebook Pop" notification sound over and over and over and over... I have to unplug, reset the phone's USB to Mass Storage (is that even right?), and plug it back in, cycle through the media selections back to USB, and then it works fine. Most of the time....

I think I'm either selecting the wrong type of USB connection for my phone, or I need to unplug every time I turn the truck off. I hate Facebook, but cant delete it from my phone as its embedded...

Just a thought, see if it will respond to a sync update if not its dealer time

Not exactly a Sync update, but TSB 11-10-22 fixes problems between Sync and the truck and is well worth getting done. It's been over 2 months now and I haven't had any problems with Sync since.

I just copy and pasted ^, but it cured my sync freeze ups with the USB, and the occasional frustrating lockup. Search for sync update, but disregard the ones that mention updating versions of sync. It's an actual acm update.

or better yet put your songs on a flash drive and use USB2 mod.
