Default Sway Bars

Hey guys I am new to the forum but I just purchased a 2012 F-150 eco. I want to add sway bars to it for a little better handing and wanted to see what you guys suggest. Thanks for any input in advance

Welcome to the forum! And congrats on your new truck.

I have a 2011 Ecoboost, and I added a rear sway bar. Here's a link to the thread I made:

I love it, the truck feels a lot better, especially while towing.

I installed a Hellwig rear sway bar a couple months ago. I love it. The truck handles much better. I paid 205.00 from suspension connection.

Do you 4x4 at all? I'm wondering about the body flex. Does it make the suspension too stiff?

I also have the Hellwig sway bar for the rear. The sway bar has 3 settings for adjustability. I have it on the loosest setting. It may interfere at full flex, but I bought it mainly for towing stability. I also have supersprings on my truck and I love the ride.

Mine is a 2wd. The sway bar does not effect the ride. definately controls the body roll. IMO, good investment.

This was asked in one of the other threads linked here, but was never answered in those threads.

Can this sway bar still be used (installed) on a 4" or 6" lifted truck?

My thoughts are yes, but you'd have to probably make some sort of drop bracket for the ends. Not sure though.
