My stock system was embarrassing. I've got two amps now, one 750 Watt Arc Audio Amp powering a JL5W13 Stealthbox subwoofer under the rear two seats, and a another 350x2 ArcAudio powering a set of JLs and German Maestro Epic series door speakers. The Epics have tweeters mounted in the A-pillars.

This system bests all but some of the $10,000+ systems.

The stock Sony and "Premium" system that I had are garbage. The Sony in our '12 Fusion on the other hand, is very good.

Due to the "special" wiring that Sony did in these trucks, its actually easier to start with the Premium setup.
