Default Strobe Install

I'm curious if anyone has installed any strobes in their truck. I'd like to figure out a place to put a switch that looks good and is close to a power supply. Any ideas?

Here's a picture of where I put my switch. I like it there because it never gets flipped on accidentally and it's easy to pop that piece off for running the wire and drilling. My power wire is straight from the battery. I'll go ahead and warn you that if you're going to install hideaways drilling into the lights on these trucks is a pain in the ***. It's next to impossible to catch all the dust and plastic shavings, I don't remember it being a big problem on my 09 F-250.

Did you just run through the firewall to the battery or the door panel? Did the plastic pop right off around the wheel?

Yes, I just cut a hole in one of the rubber grommets that's already in the firewall and yes there is a seam in the plastic around the steering wheel you can stick a flat head in and pop it apart.

I started installing my led strobes today also. Only got rears done, fronts in the next few days. Not sure where in the back your thinking, but I did in the one in each reverse light and 2 in cargo lamp.
Reverse light isn't hard, just mare sure your centered.
Cargo was harder as very tight fit in truck body. I had to "convince" the cargo light to for after added the light heads.
I can send you pics of you need.

Good luck and Show pictures when your done.
