Everyone has their own reasons, but I use them as I visit construction projects I oversee regularly and Some are on the highways where visibility is mandatory.

I was looking into tucking some whelen hide aways in the reverse light area and the front turn indicator area. Would love to see photos when you guys get yours installed.

I am a stickler on safety and visibility. I'll be using mine as a set of hazards on steroids. Too many idiot drivers with their heads up their *****. I want to be seen if I am sitting off the side of the road.

the highway department in Minnesota likes to put strobes in the reverse lights on their official use only F-150's, looks pretty neat. I don't know if you can legally do that to civilian trucks though.

I'm not sure the law in every state but in a majority if you are running amber only they are still considered a warning light. As Lon as your not screwing around with them and using them for safety if pulled over or work use, ur usually fine.
If you start using clear or colored (red/blue) then the 5-0 may take notice and give you some slack. Again I don't know every state law, just my experience.

I'm basically going to use mine as beefed up hazards. In KY it's ok to have ambers but nothing else unless you're a volunteer firefighter. I'm police so I'll use them when I may need to help some one.

Reverse light isn't hard, just mare sure your centered.
Cargo was harder as very tight fit in truck body. I had to "convince" the cargo light to for after added the light heads.
I can send you pics of you need.

Good luck and Show pictures when your done.
I am planning on using a license plate bracket for mine. I have Code 3 LED light heads that will mount on there. I basically just need the bracket and the time but when I find both I will post. You do the same.
