Sorry guys, as I told T-Bird, I got side track with 2 real life issues: wife was in a wreck (she is OK) that ultimately totaled her car. We flew from Houston to Rockwall Ford in Rockwall Texas and bought her a new 25 Explorer. Could not wait to order one, we were told 4 to 6 MONTHS on special order explorers. For what it is worth: AAA was the insurer of the person that hit her, and we were treated like royalty. Then her mother, 95, decided it was or is time to develop dementia and is currently hospitalized, 6 months maybe at the most.

So running a scope in a cylinder has gone on the back burner. Thanks for understanding and I will get to this soon hopefully! Also been looking for my used dream truck, may just have to wait until truck month and see what is available then.

Final post, I sold the truck today. I bought a 2021 Platinum F150 this last Monday. Problem solved.

Thanks all!

Far Out Ed!!!
Congrats , condolences, and happy birthday.
I hope momma and daughter and doing well.

Before you let it go, did you ever get those pressure readings on your 2013 Coyote?
remember now, most of those 2013 problems never went away….they just moved. The good thing is they are 10years-ish newer materials.

so
give the specs on your 21 Platnum.. SCAB or SCREW.
have you learned all of the new buttons
? Updated the gps map?
did it find your phone?……

and where’s the pictures?

Thanks, I never got around to getting the leak down done. Too many life events. My new 2021 Platinum is loaded, everything including the workspace 25K on the clock! These trucks have improved so much, I did not realize how tired mine really was. My 13 had 173 on it and I got 9K for it. Thats all I expected and I did not want to have to run

adds and meet people.

The platinum is Antimatter Blue with black leather seats with Carmello inserts. Here is a quick pic when it was clean at the dealer. I bought it in Florida and drove it back Tuesday during all of the storms in the south.

I will post more pics as soon as I clean it up.

Great
quite happy for you
so $9k trade in for a ~$45k truck with 25k miles vs 175k miles.
seems it might last you tooling around Houston for a while.

still with a 5.0 gas or ?
and to string us along…what about the headlights? Haven’t studied the later modles. Have no clue if they are LEDs or HIDs or what
and since you enjoyed about 1/2 of I-10, you must have an idea of the fuel mileage of the basic truck…
and when are you going to get the bed cover

GOOD LOOKING TRUCK!

No it has the 3.5L Ecoboost and also has LED's headlights that do all the neat stuff: light up the direction you are turning and go high when you are in the dark automatically. The fuel mileage for that trip was 23.4.

This truck has Goodyear Wranglers on it. Not sure if they are original or replacement tires, but they are smooth and quiet! I think my Michelin fanboy days are over! LOL!

Just went through your thread on your adventure to Florida….WHAT A TRIP!
very nice looking truck.
im sure your already looking for the mirror mods you want and looking for that perfect bed cover and thinking about a different set of $1000 tires.

I just fired up my 13XLT and had to relearn the controls and rediscovered the phone and truck still speak with one another.
and the remote start still works just fine.
we actually used it to haul a full bed load of tree trimmings to the local dump. Then to the Orange wear-house for a new self propelled push mower. Then over to HEB for a offset Smoker.

time to wash the rain carried mud from the Feb-Mar wind/rain/mud storm.

LOL! Yep I think I am maxed out on all of the exterior mods for me, for now. I almost got ripped off by a guy on eBay. I bought a OEM bed divider from him. It was suppose tobe new,but it was used and apparently a returned item that he bought somewhere. Ebay sided with me and returned my money, today he emailed me and alleged that I sent him another defective unit! I called eBay and they told me not to worry, that my already received refund was good.

From the following pictures I have added: Window Tint, Bak Flip F1, pin stripes and mud flaps. Inside got Ford liners on the floor. I miss my old truck, only took the dealer a week to sell it. They had it listed at 13,999, 13 wih 172K.
