Default step bars

looking for opinions and feedback on gettin new bars. since i lifted my truck i am noticing that i rub my legs everytime i get out of my truck and I'm just not thrilled about the looks. im not interested in the amp ones(price and i live in mi on a dirt road). i like the looks of the nfab style but wondering if they are functional. i do have 3 kids getting into the back so there would be size 12 work boots to toddler shoes using them. thanks in advance for any help and happy friday!

Amps are exactly what you're looking for aside from price. What's dirt have to do with it, mine work fine in all sorts of conditions.

You may want to look at getting some Raptor take offs. They are wider and have more grip.

Those nfabs are quite handy actually, I like the 3rd step at the bed, my buddy has them on his f250 and loves them,

They are ok but the steps are too small are awkward when wet. You have to have exact foot placement every time.

I ditched them for the Amps.

i was thinking dirt, mud and salty dirt/mud would do a number on the mechanical moving parts. maybe im wrong in this thinking.

The motors and gears are sealed, a little lube to the hinge points every once in a while and they are good to go.

I know cost is prohibited with them but after doing stocks and Nfabs I saved up for them and got them for $900 delivered and it's been the best mod, better for my wife and kids also.

2nd the amps, after lifting my truck they made it a pleasure to get in and out rather than a burden.

You can always get a set of Raptor Side Steps.

I like the fact that they stick out some but taper back in at the front and back. You can stand on them like you are on a half a surfboard.
