Hid kit comes with the ballast that you need for the hid lights.

Damn. Did the guys who installed the lights throw in the KY or did they charge you for that too?

Lol, just sounds like he is reading to much/asking to many people the same question so he gets to many opposing answers. Definitely sounds confused

Listen, Stevie Wonder could install these headlights! If you don't do some of these little plug n play mods yourself, you're going to spend some serious coinage by the end of it all

Really don't need to mock the guy, some people aren't comfortable doing their own mods. Any mod will cost a ton more if you don't do the work yourself but if you can afford it...

Not sure about the halos as those should already be hooked up.

You will need 2 ballasts, 2 HID bulbs and a wire harness with relay. The harness hooks up to the positive and negative on battery and then go to ballasts, then the bulbs plug into ballasts and then plug into the back of the lights.

Right the halos will already be connected with their own separate ballast (not compatible with hid) so you need to buy a complete hid kit which will be the h1: morimoto elite hid system or equivalent.

I'm not mocking him, I was just joking since he stated he was planning on a bunch of mods. Sounds like these guys took advantage of him

Sorry I must have read it quickly, just sucks when you do a mod, then need to spend more to make the mod work. But yeah that shop definitely sounds like they took advantage of him. Hopefully when all is said and done he is happy with the headlights and not out all that money and back to stock.
