sand and paint? POR15 and paint?

personally, if I was gonna replace a now 2 year old truck within about a decade, I'd just leave it or perhaps choke it off with grease

Last fall I sprayed bottom of truck with fluid film. It made it thru the Michigan winter with no rust. Its not permanent needs to be touched up each year.
