Default Speedometer Fix

I've asked a few times in a couple different threads and haven't gotten a clear answer.

Has anyone with an 11-14 successfully been able to correct their speedometer error using Forscan?

If not, is there a cheaper way than the $80 the dealer wants to change me to do it?

I'm not new to Forscan. Changing the tires sizes within Forscan did nothing, made no change at all to my speedometer reading. I also used a plug-in formula I found in the 15+ page that gives you an exact value to fix the difference between indicated and actual speed. All this to no avail

Ford's IDS only allows the dealer to change tire sizes that came from the factory. The biggest is what comes on the Raptor. The other option is a tuner.

Thanks for the response.

They must have changed this on the 15+, members with these trucks have been able to fix this issue using Forscan

I went to a friends Ford dealership after I installed the Eibach leveling kit and the AT2 exteme 295/70/18's and used the IDS computer. I used a site on the internet to check my "effective gear ratio". My 14 F150 has 3:55 gears installed. After the tire change, the effective ratio is 3:32. So, we changed the gear ratio in the PCM to 3:31 gears. It made NO difference to the reading of the speedo on the dash. There just so happen to be a factory FORD service rep there on site that day. He said, that we would not be able to fix the speedo being off without using an aftermarket tuner. He said the speedo gets it reading from the ABS sensors.

Being all that said, I have a 14 F150 5.slow. Is there a tuner that is documented to fix the speedo? I have read somewhere that people have bought a tuner and it would not correct the speedo.

Thanks in advance!!

Interesting, saw one person in the thread you linked mention Forscan who probably didn't change adjust his speedometer with Forscan. Was really hoping to find some who had successfully fixed their speedometer using Forscan.

If you can find that then thanks
