Those speed signs are grossly inaccurate

Right now I'm about 3-4 mph off

Superchips just came out with a tire calibration tool couple weeks ago for Fords

Usually $199.95 but on 10% off holiday sale until Xmas right now for any Superchips dealer for $179

Don't have em up on the website yet but part number is #1545

I've actually never found one that was inaccurate. Every single one has been dead on. Compared to multiple vehicles and gps-based speed apps.

Just out of curiosity, why do you say that? /\/\

It would bug the hell out of me if I knew my speedo was off but that's me personally.

I'd like to know also.......

Basically, I am trying to figure out of this is why the dash MPG read-out is low........because it was not re-programmed for the tire size increase

I could pay the dealer $160 to do it once, but why not have the tool for a few bucks more...........that I would be able to use whenever I need to

They work, I just think they're priced way too high to only calibrate your speedometer. With the tires listed above it shouldn't be off more than a couple mph. Figure out how much and adjust accordingly. I know that drives some people nuts though. Going to 35s and I was only 2-5 mph off. Depending on speed. I changed gears and got a tuner which fixed mine anyways but it never really bothered me before because I knew it was only a couple mph off. To each their own.
