Shops that do auto glass will have the little 2 pronged tool used for getting that out.

Glad to hear you got your refund. Id call the Better Business Bureau and try to file a complaint with them. Id also contact your local city business legislature and file a complaint with them. While you're at it, write a letter to your local newspaper. I know it might seem a bit extreme, but to be treated like that and for it to take so long is just wrong.

yah, it was definitely a process. I am just happy to have my truck back and to be receiving my refund. I know not to use them again, but it's been a learning experience. I don't know about contacting all of those places just because they have made things right. I mean, it took ages and really still isn't fixed... but I think it may be worth leaving alone. Just wish I had a friggin rear view mirror

Wow. I read your post. Sorry to hear that. Like others have stated demand your money back. Apply pressure to them by adding bad reviews to their site if they have one, the Better Business Bureau, Consumer reviews, and anything else you can think of. People don't like bad publicity. And if your TV stations have spots on the news where they showcase bad business, call them and let them put it out on the airways. There are a few members on this forum that have experienced bad service and they put it in a thread and have even put it something on their truck about the bad business. It is a shame. Too bad you can't threaten to sue them.

I went in today and had them reverse everything and they gave me a refund, minus the restocking fee. They weren't able to put my rear view mirrow back on tho. I called ford but they are no help till next week and autozone wasn't any help either. Wish tere was something I could do

i am not sure. will have to look into it. I've never been to an actual windshield repair place, they've always come to me. will have to search tomorrow. Can't i be ticketed for driving without it though?

I'm not sure about that. But I wouldn't think so, I mean there's delivery trucks and vans that don't even have or use the rear view mirror because there is no rear windows or it a box truck etc.
Worse case you explain what happened and that your going to get fixed...
