So this happened...
haha thank you for actually reading through all of that! I am terribly disappointed. I mean... I figured going to a shop as big as them would bring me some piece of mind. For the audi, Tacoma and frontier before it, I had always gone to another shop that wasn't part of a big chain. I am paying the price now. I just wish they could've gotten it right today. I was certainly more than patient and didn't turn into an "angry black man" until today haha
I would have went to top dog and said hey what the
gives here........lolOne thing I noticed was my rear camera in 2012 XTR is way better then my Buddies in his 2013 FX4 with Nav, he only has 2 zooms and its all grainy. Mine has 3 zoom's on the Mirror, and is crystal clear.
yes there is way cheaper stuff out there.....
No worries it was an Interesting read!
Well bad business advertisement seems to play a major role in getting satisfaction, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I would call talk to the manager and escalate past them if needed. If that didn't work and I lived near by I would do up a poster park my truck by the shop advertising the crappy work they do there and would continue with emails and phone calls. Eventually someone will get the point. If you willing to drop 450 bucks down the tube then just walk away. I wouldn't do it with a broken windshield. If they get away with that the next guy will get the same crappy treatment and they will know how to treat him as well.
"Home of the one dollar install". LOL.
I wouldn't let those guys put batteries in my flashlight. Now you have learned that. I learned that over 16 years ago. Another thing I learned from working in the truck accessory biz for 10+ years is, before any work starts, always go over the parts and how they will be installed. Hopefully you get your money back and never have to go through that again.

Honestly, getting angry is the only way anything ever gets done. Otherwise they make use of your patience - it's ridiculous. I'd demand they give me my money and f*ck off with their business. Reading your story alone angered me severely.
Hopefully things go well.
Hopefully things go well.
