Default Side Mirror question

A couple nights ago I had a guy clip my mirror on my 2012 F150 XL with his mirror on a narrow road. Long story short I had to get a new drivers side window and mirror. Well the shop installed the window and side view mirror but the mirror is different than my factory. I originally just had a power mirror but now I have the mirror with the amber led blinker. My question is I found a replacement to match for my passenger side but it stated its heated. Will it be plug and play just minus the heat option?

Almost guaranteed it would be plug and play. I purchased side mirrors for my XLT (with blinkers) and they were plug and play.
I believe the harness (the one going through the door to the mirror itself) is already wired for the blinker.

i have a '13 xlt and mine came with power mirrors (glass only), the led turn signals and nothing else. i bought a set of aftermarket trailer mirrors that had those options and the puddle light, and the puddle light work as soon as i plugged it in (same plug on each end). i would guess it should fit just fine.

If you buy a new heater control switch with the rear defrost/heated mirror switch, the heated mirrors will work also.

I just switched my stock XL mirrors for my 2014 for heated mirrors with the blinkers and amber front reflectors. Installation of the mirrors were simple plug-and-play. I followed this following forum post and was able to order the climate control module with heater button for only $55 off eBay.

I ordered a new one from one of the online Ford dealers, forget which one. If you have a good junkyard near, you might get a used one cheap

Thanks you guys for your help. I did replace the mirrors and low and behold all functions work. I also ordered a climate control switch so when that comes in I will post a follow up on the heated mirror option.
