If money is an issue(usually is for everyone) look up Por 15 paint. You can get it in white. It's expensive, not $700 though. Especially if you can wire wheel like you say. They sell small kits that aren't that much $$.

It's not so much an issue, it is but it isn't, I know if like to fix it. I have plenty of wire wheels, por15 may be a good option for me too. I'm thinking a quart would be plenty.
