Replacing Back Up camera on a 2014
Well, I tried disconnecting the battery, no luck, still didnt work.
I also realized that I was wrong with the lines disappearing. It isn't for the lines, its for the green, yellow and red blocks that pop up as you get close to something. So those don't come on anymore and the zoom doesn't work. The sensors still work, so it beeps when I get close to something, but no color blocks come up. Again, this doesn't bother me a lot as I can live without either of those two things. At this point, it'st just for my entertainment to try and fix them.
So, if I buy a Bluetooth obd transmitter, what is a good brand? Also, can the forscan phone app do the trick, or does it take the full version to reset or calibrate everything?

Unless you want wireless, save yourself money and get this.

Also if you have an iphone, it can't use bluetooth anyway.

Is the LX as good? Are there cheaper ones that have the same features?
This is more my price range, but would like to use it with my phone, I am a diehard android user.
I'll try a master reset and see if that works, but wouldn't have cutting the power and resetting the system have done the same thing?

The USB one is actually the safest bet and then the OBD MX bluetooth one is the next best but more expensive. I do not believe the LX works.
There are cheaper bluetooth/wifi adapters. I would suggest that you purchase the cheaper USB for forscan stuff and then purchase a cheap (~$10) bluetooth/wifi obd adapter for phone. You can't do much with your phone with forscan other than look at data and read codes. The problem with the cheap bluetooth/wifi adapters is that they have a higher risk of losing the connection with forscan and that could be dangerous when you are writing new data or doing certain functions.
