Can I ask what the linex cost you? Bought a new ride tonight and couldn't get the dealer to cut me any slack on a spray in liner.

$440... I had it on my 2004 for seven years, great product. Life Time Warranty too... Can pick soft items, like soft net bags, etc. So I run a bed mat on top on LineX... easier on the dog too...

Does the step still function as it should, and all the remaining trim snug w/o play?

Also can you check the part # for the panel, just went on Tascaparts.com and it brought up the whole tailgate for a pocket change 3 grand. lol

Nice write up. I've been looking at doing this as well. Now if only I could get rid of the nasty "platinum" panel without buying a whole new tailgate I'd be set!

Do you drive with the dog in the bed with no cargo top?

Yes, step is unchanged... Panel is ~$70 or 80... plus 8 bolts at $2 each...
