Default Remote start quit working

Remote start quit working on my 2011 Lariat SCREW 4X4. It will be going to the dealership next week for a routine maintenance So I'll have them look at it. It was working fine and now I can't get it top work with either key...
I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this. I'm wondering if it could be something simple that I'm overlooking. (Fuse or something?)
If your remote quit working and the dealer fixed it, what did they find. (just so I can pass on to my dealer.)

Thank you, Brian.

Try going into vehicle settings on your info screen. Go to remote start, then duration. See if the box "off" is checked. If it is then that's the problem, move it to 10 or 15 min and hopefully it will crank. If it's not in off, put it in off then switch it back to a duration and see if that works. I moved mine to off thinking it would never have a duration but then learned it turns the entire system off. So i switched it back to 15. Hope that helps.

My remote start (2011 Lariat SCREW EB) works randomly, at best. Parked in the spot every day, most weeks I'm lucky to get remote starts 50% of the time. When I'm out running errands on the weekend, sometimes it works great, other days, I get zero remote starts.

I'll check the setting as mentioned above and see if that works for me.

Mine is also intermittent. Many times (seems like the frequency of this is increasing) the lights will blink twice like it's going to start, then it will just honk the horn once and not start. When it does that, I try again and sometimes it will go but other times I can try it over and over but it will never remote start. Anyone else experiencing this?

Lawdog did you ever figure out your issue?

Mine is doing this exact same thing. The only exception is that once it does it, it had never worked again by trying multiple times. Sometimes I would try it the next day and it would work. Please let me know if you find a cause or solution to this problem.

I forgot about the horn honking, but what you described is exactly what happens with mine.

Thanks for the heads up LSI Lariat! I went into the settings screen and the remote start was turned off. (don't know how that happened.) I was able to just turn it back on and now it works fine.
I love the info on this forum... Thanks again.

Brian.

Mine works perfectly every time even from 500 feet away. I guess its just another reason to buy the FX4 EB
Seriously maybe you just need a new battery or your operating it in an area with a lot of radio interference.
