Default Remote Start?

I I bought my truck used and it came with a Viper aftermarket remote start. I was wondering what is the thing on the windshield and what is the thing under the hood?

Oh ok. I want to do a tint strip on the top of my windshield but I feel like the antenna would be in the way and I wanted to check before I did anything to it.

Its just stuck on with double sided sticky tape OR Velcro. Remove it and the tech can install the tint.

Tint strip and antenna can be done together, no problem. I have a Viper alarm as well and the windshield tint strip and the antenna secures to the tint without issue.

So just remove it and have tint strip done and stick it back on?
