Tires: Toyo or Nitto

Tires: Toyo or Nitto
The age old question...I'm looking at upgrading my tires in a few weeks and putting on a leveling kit. I'll be going to a 275/65/20 size. I had a '12 and went too big and hated the rubbing.
Any ways, I'm also going to stick with an A/T instead of an M/T because I'm on the highway about 90% of the time and would rather get more mileage than I did with my M/T's.
Does anyone have any advice for me on the difference between the Toyo Open Country A/T II's or the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's?? Probably not but let me hear it.
Thanks!

other than the toyos usually costing a little more your looing at about the same life. i personally have the nitto g2's. nitto hasnt done me wrong in almost 10 years and why mess with success? i have ridden in a truck with toyos and they dont have much road noise but my buddy did complain a little about their winter performance if that is anything you have to deal with.

I went through the same scenario last spring...
All the comparisons that I read gave the slight nod to the Toyos in more difficult off road situations. The Nitto's got the nod for slightly quieter road noise.
I wanted the better off road capabilities, thus the Toyos. I also looked at both tires personally, photos of both tires on different trucks, and I found that I just simply liked the look of the Toyos better than the Nittos as well.
*YMMV*
Toyo and Nitto are basically the same company (partners). Both tires in the A/T variety come with a 50,000 mileage warranty! If you can believe that!
Oh, and Toyos seem to be harder to find in stores, at least in some sizes. Seems a lot of tire stores carry the Nittos. Have no idea why.
HTH!

This is great info.
I can get the Nitto's for $1027 or the Toyo's for $1088 so the cost diff isn't anything that would push me to one side or another.
I'm liking the look of the Toyo's a little better but they're both nice looking.
