I just installed my Recon Projector Headlights, and I love them.

There was a pretty big storm that passed through as I was driving home. I went out to show my mom the lights, and I noticed what looked like condensation forming on the inside of the headlight... Is this normal? Or am I in store for some major problems?

Please Help!

 

That's how a lot of aftermarket lights are. I use to have aftermarket tails and it did it all the time. No problems with the lights actually working though. They're just not sealed as good as the OEM ones.

How are they? Bright? How's the cutoff? And did u get HIDs with them?

 

The high beams are bright, low beams point straight downward... I did not get HIDs, but I was looking more at the look of them than light output.. As for the look.... Couldn't be happier!! They are better than stock, but not a substantial difference in the low beams

 

I got spyder halos on mine and havent had a problem yet. Ive read on alot of places that you can actually go back and seal with some silicon to keep that from happening....just gotta make sure all the moisture is out first. Btw nice looking truck ....actually kind of looks like mine.

 

Hahaha yeah I did a seal today.. And yes our trucks do look similar!

 

Sounds good.....that seal should keep that from happening again. Truck looking sharp with those halos now.

 

Yeah, Probably my favorite mod so far... Just installed my Solo Performance 4" Single Exhaust too.... Couldn't be happier! How do you like the light output on the Spyders?

 

nice! Output is good....got the HIDs on the projectors and it lights up nice plus a good cut off so i dont get flashed.
