Default Putting a toolbox on

I'm getting a TSC or UWS toolbox and I was looking at my truck... Am I gonna have to drill through metal to put it on?? How are y'all putting y'all's on?

So there as a big hole? The only thing I see is where the plastic bed rail was pulled through

had one on my last truck that I had to drill holes in the toolbox for the J bolts.

I just did one earlier. I made some j bolts and bolted it down no holes in the bed.

The J bolt is the way to go so you wont have holes in your top rail. Also I recommend you put some thicker rubber or something between your toolbox and the plastic rail just because the diamond design will press into the plastic over time. I found a plastic flap I cut up to fit underneath.

Quick and easy to install. I leave them on when I take my tool box off for big loads.

when you buy your new box it will have the hooks needed to mount it without drilling into your truck. If not then someone took them and ask the seller to provide them.
