Default PTM Question

I have a 2011 f150 XLT, I was wondering if anyone knew a round about price for how much it could cost to PTM door handles tailgate handles, grille, and bumpers. Not myself but proffesinally I've looked it up but i cant find anything. I'm sure location has something to do with it so I live in Upsate New York.
Thanks.

I just PTM my bumpers and had a friend do the work (professionally) and it cost me $400...not including the parts. When I researched it, I was getting quotes anywhere from $580 - $675 to paint the bumpers. They turned out awesome and I plan to install them next week, weather permitting. I bought a PTM grill off eBay (brand new) for $400 and got lucky because Ruby Red is not easy to find already PTM. Not sure about door handles but if you decide to have the work done, I would take all the parts at once so you can get a better price. Good luck

I got a quote to get my door handles, F150 emblems, grille/tailgate emblems, chrome door trim and repaint my entire mirrors for $250-$300.

That is a good deal David. Cost me 200 bucks to do just the grill surround. But, that included removal, and reinstall

Yeah guys, it's actually the shop who is doing all my upcoming work but this quote was before I really started to pair up with these guys. I just haven't had time to be without my truck for a couple of days unfortunately. But soon it will be done. This quote also included his 20% Military discount.

One thing you may want to check out before you proceed. I have the black plastic handle surrounds with the chrome pulls. Those plastic surrounds have a texture to them. On the factory PTM models, I don't know if that is the same surround or not. As I say, I don't know, but I'd imagine the factory PTM version would be a smooth painted plastic surround. You may want to compare the two at a dealership and also ask the paint shop their opinion on how they will look after the paint job. The surrounds may have to be sanded smooth as a part of the prep work. You may not care either way, but just a thought. Haven't checked on how much to buy PTM replacements, probably pretty pricey, including labor if you don't replace them yourself.

I got a price of $600.00 form my ford dealer for PTM door handles already factory painted. Right inline with Tasca parts. I can't find a paint shop willing to paint the ones I have for less than that . I even offered to remove them and reinstall myself. I think they are all to busy fixing deer damage to fool with a little project. Guess I will wait till summer and try again.

bdw293, I understand what your saying. A lot of body shops in my area depend on insurance work to feed the babies, and don't want to be tied up with work like this. Luckily, the guy that did mine got a ton of money from me to restore my old Camaro. I think he would be embarrassed to say no after that.

What did they charge you if you if you don't mind me asking. Just wondering what a fair price would be.
