Question Problem with trailer lights need help....

I'm not getting any power at the factory plug on my 2011 XLT. I don't see anything wrong with the wiring in the plug are under the box. The owners manual don't tell me what fuses to check so I checked them all. No bad fuses but then again I see a lot of empty spots. Can any one tell me what fuses to check and are they in the distribution box under the hood or is there another box hiding in the cab some where?

That's what I thought but I don't know where they go and the owners manual doesn't tell me.

It should be slot #9 and #21 in the under-hood fuse box

The 9 and 21 spot is to charger the trailers battery's. Not to power the the plug. I been towing trailers for a year without the fuse or relay installed and the lights work just fine.

Check your fuses on the right side under the dash in the cab. I lost all my rear lights the other day and I had a blown 10amp fuse in their.

The truck lights are fine. I rode my motorcycle to work today so I'll check for missing fuses in the morning.

There are separate fuses for the truck lights and trailer lights. All are under the hood.
Your owners manual will tell you which fuses are for the trailer plug.
The 9 and 21 spots are for 12 volt power to the trailer plug if you need it.
