Default 7 pin connection

I had a bit of an issue with my 7 pin connection when I went to hook up my camper. The assembly got bent slightly crossing a creek on my property. It didn't affect the 4 pin connection, so I didn't think anything about it.

When I went to plug in the camper though, it was a bit out of round, and it wouldn't go in. I ended up sanding two of the ridges inside of the housing and was finally able to get the plug to go in.

I gotta fix my creek crossing so it doesn't get bent any worse. That long wheel base isn't always the best for those crossings.

This is the crossing I need to fix.

I would love to have land like that. You can get a new 7-pin oem socket at e-trailer.com for around $10.
