I don't think they are working as designed or everyone would be having this same problem?

kydsid, mtaswt, warriorsfan177,

Hi All

Thanks for the feedback and ideas.

I could see it possibly being a mirror position problem however, the motor that moves the mirrors - not the housing - is doing the clicking. The housing motors open and close the the mirrors just fine. Again, this only occurs when I use my custom code; when I use the factory default code it doesn't do it at all.

The key FOB works differently than it does on my wife's Edge. Her key FOB doesn't have an ignition switch to put a key in to. The F150 has to have the FOB inserted into an ignition switch. Until that contact is made, the seats don't move and the mirrors (glass or housing) don't move. When I open the housing, after getting in the truck, the housing moves but the mirrors don't move....they stay in the last position I adjusted them to.

I'm going to order the schematics through AllData today. As a retired electronics teacher, there has to be an explanation better than its your custom code. I plan to change the code and see if it does it.

If kydsid's does it, unless he's got the same identical custom code, it couldn't be the code......I've been known to be wrong.
