Default Power Folding Mirrors

I have a couple of questions about my power folding mirrors. When the mirrors are folded in and I use the keypad to gain entry into my truck, the mirrors, themselves, start moving and clicking. This clicking won't stop until I open the door and pull on the mirror switch to open the mirrors.

1. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
2. Has anyone seen a TSB on this issue?

BTW, this is my third F150 and my real issue, so far, is the gas mileage. This 2013 has the 5.0L with 1300 miles, I've had it since January 7th, its a Lariat with most all the options available.

Will my mileage improve after a certain number of miles are on it? I'm getting 15.3-15.6 city and highway, not towing.

Thanks in advance for any ideas and help.

Mine do nothing when I press the key pad. I fold them in at parking lots all the time and have never heard the clicking sound you describe.

I hate to tell you this but the only thing giving you bad gas milage with the 5.0 is your right foot. But your milage will improve over time anyway.

No problem with my mirrors. As said pay attention to your right foot. I know they sound great when accelerating, but it cost. With a 4x4 you are probably in range or close right now for overall average, but it will get some better with break-in. My 5.0 4x2 Platinum w/2200 miles is at 17.5 average. But that is by the computer thingy, it's probably a little lower. Keep in mind, big heavy truck, big heavy truck, big heavy truck.

No answer for your mirrors but your fuel mileage will get better. Im at 1900 miles and at 17mpg and I drive the toll roads at 80-85mph.

I dont think we have the winter blend down here like you guys do up North. From what I hear, that is the main reason for poor fuel mileage.

No clue on the mirrors. Mine don't do that.

As for the mpg's, I agree with the others, watch your right foot. I'm not the easiest on the throttle, but my '13 FX4 (less than 1k miles on it) gets about 16.5 in the city with 3.73 gears.

Thanks for the feedback. I can only drive 55 for about two miles, the rest of the time its between 25 and 45 MPH; this is around town. I'm not sure what rearend gears I have. I don't think it is a lead foot issue, ask my wife....she says I drive too slow as it is. Highway, our maximum speed limit is 65 and I run, on cruise, right around 73-74.

My other thought is there is something wrong with the MPG sensors, since I'm having weird electrical problems with the mirrors.

The truck is at the dealers right now for the mirror issue, took it in last night.

Let you all know about mirror issue when I get the truck back.

Look at your door sticker under axle code and find out what it is.

Thought I' let you know what the dealer said...."Nothing wrong with your mirrors. The code you programmed in for the keyless entry causes the clicking when it tries to set the mirrors to your memory settings. When we used the factory code it didn't make any clicking noises."
As far as I know, I didn't set the door code until the end of February...almost two months after I set the memory seat position.
If any of you have a Lariat, let me know if set a door code or are using the factory code. Once I pick up the truck this afternoon, I'm going to program another code.
I've got the 3.55 Electronic Lock RR Axle and still have the winter blend of fuel.
