Default Is this possible?

I am thinking about downsizing my wheels from my stock 18" FX4 wheels to 17s. Will doing this cause any problems?

I just took a look at my 18s. Going to a 17 cuts the radius by ½”, and by the looks of my brake assemblies, some of it gets pretty close to ½” from my wheel. Maybe less. In the front, the caliper assembly is pretty close. In the rear, my pad clip looks pretty close.

I have been tossing around the idea of lifting my truck and have been doing the figures. It may be a little cheaper to go with 17s.

Raptor runs 17" so they will fit over stock brakes.

I love those tread titles that invite you to read, only to dissappoint with worthless content.

This post was worthless. OP had a legitimate question. If you don't like the content then move on.

Going into more detail, yes 17's will fit fine. They come oem on some trucks.

I like the look of smaller rims wrapped in more tire. Looks more aggressive.
