Default plug and play remote start

I didn't get the option of the remote start on my 2014 I didn't know they made a plug and play option. Now I want it I have found the part # needed BC3Z-19G364-A I am 99% sure I have the hood switch.

How do we program keys I now there is a way to do it ourselves just can't find it. All I need to do then is have them cut the keys and program the truck to allow for remote start to be used correct?

These are key program instructions.

You must have the 2 original keys.Place one of the existing keys in the ignition switch. Turn the switch from off to run, and back to off. Remove the key.Place the second existing key in the ignition switch. Turn the switch from off to run, and back to off. Remove the key.Place the new key in the ignition switch. Turn the switch from off to run, and back to off. Remove the key.Try to start the engine using the new key. If the engine starts your key has been successfully programmed.

Otherwise the dealer needs to activate the remote start via the ids software and of course they or a lock place can cut your new keys.

Ah thanks man I new it was something like that. Tasca seems to have the remote start the cheapest I am going to call my dealer and see if I can get some wiggle room from them on price.

Its really easy to install yourself. Then just have the keys cut, and program them yourself. The only thing the dealership needs to do is plug in IDS and turn the remote start from "off" to "on".

This is where I got mine
http://www.ebay.com/itm/161223017995?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITInstructions are included. Took 5 minutes to install, $2 for cut keys, and 5 minutes to program them. I have not gotten to the dealer yet to get it turned on. My dealer quoted $60 for that.

It's super simple. Literally an antenna that plugs into the tire pressure monitor system box on the passenger side. That's the entire install beyond the keys and ids flash.

OK sweet they are just Making it sound much harder then it is. Both dealers sounded totally shocked there was something out there like this from Ford. I was asked where I would buy it and I said they are sold on Fordaccessories.com I gave them part numbers just waiting now to make sure they can do then enabling, then I will order it an install it. I did get quoted $40 to enable it.
